It’s my last market of the year this weekend at Swainby Church Hall! 🎄✨

I’ll be there Saturday and Sunday, all set up with lots of handmade yoga goodies.

I absolutely love this market — let’s be honest, it’s as much a social catch-up for me as it is a market 😂 The stallholders are lovely, the customers are even lovelier, and the whole weekend has the best festive vibe.

About 4 weeks ago, I made my very first pastel owl backpack — and it sold the very next day! 🦉💛 It was bought by a lovely man who told me he was surprising his wife with it for Christmas (how sweet is that? 🎁💫).

I never even got the chance to photograph that one before it flew off to its new home — so I just had to make another!

This new version is handmade with love in soft pastel shades and features the most gorgeous embroidered owl on the flap. It’s waterproof too — perfect for adventures, yoga sessions, or just brightening up everyday life. 🌈🩵

I haven’t made a pleated meditation cushion in ages but the urge just sprang up in me today! Now I’ve made it I want to make some more.

I was rubbish at maths at school but you wouldn’t believe how much maths is required to make your own patterns 🧐. In the last picture is my calculations for how much material I need to make the pleated sides - and it worked out perfectly 😛
